How to Order custom curtain
You can order by clicking the custom drapery category. Follow the steps and place an order here. You can order wider width and extra long curtains. Most of the sizes you can select from drop down menu and get instant pricing. if the size of your requirement is not there, please message us for the customquote. Each product is handcrafted right here at our unit and ship as soon as it is completed. Generally our custom curtains are shipped within 3 - 7 days after receive an order and deliver by fedex priority within 3 - 7 days.

I am not familiar with custom curtains, can you assist me with measurement and design
You can find measuring and design guide as well as lining and fabric type in our resources section. Follow the instructions and you can place an order. If you are not sure about size, just send us window size and photos and we’ll assist you the right size curtains to order.

Can I change or cancel the order
Because the order is custom made to your specifications, we cannot change or cancel an order once production begins.

Our quality of fabric and workmanship matches that of professional interior designer and luxury home furnishing brands, but at less price. We source our fabrics directly from the manufacturer (brands). Our Drapery fabrics are OEKO - tex certified. They do not contain any harmful substance. Natural fabrics like Silk and Linen we manufacture in Bangalore and the products (made -ups) at our unit with quality workmanship in New Delhi. Thus we offer high quality products which are unique itself, not available anywhere else and at affordable price.

Do you offer custom furnishing and drapery fabric, pleat style not shown in your website
Yes, We can make some other furnishing and pleat styles, like we can make almost any drapery style apart from most loved french pleat, flat pleat drapery.Please message us the different style you would like to order. You can attach reference photos for the style. FABRICS -We have the ability to source designer fabrics, branded fabrics and can develop fabric at our own production house. You can message us what you are looking for.

Can I order Swatches
Yes, you can order swatches. 1 - 6 colors in one fabric, You can consolidate different drapery fabrics also at a nominal price of US $ 19.99. We offer free swatches but the price is for shipping only. The swatches are large enough (8 x 10 inches ) to have look and feel. It’ll dispatch by fedex priority and reach to you within 3 - 5 business days.

Can I add trims, tie backs
Yes you can add trims and tie backs. Different styles are shown in our trims category. Follow the steps and you can add trims.

Do I need Iron the curtains after receiving and are they lined
The curtains we ship are ready to hang. You just need to insert drapery pins and hang them using rings or hang them using clip rings. You can also call drapery professional to hang the drapes for perfect fit. We iron all the curtains before we pack them into a box. Pleated curtains are fan - folded to stay in shape in transportation and easy installation, however there may be fold lines because of folding, packing and shipping process. They will disappear in a few hours after hanging. If you would like to iron, please make sure to set the temperature to low and iron carefully. LINING - Our Silk drapery is lined with privacy lining by default. If you want you can change to blackout lining when placing an order. We recommend adding lining to all drapes for insulation, nice fall and to protect the main fabric from sunlight. Sheer curtains are beautiful itself, let the natural light in the room, thus not lined.

Care Instruction for Drapery, Roman Shades and textiles products
Most of our products are in silk fabric and meant for dry clean only. Curtains made from other material, we recommend dry cleaning to ensure they look beautiful for many years. To clean drapery and Roman Shades you can call professional. Please do not launder or scrub, you can do light dusting but never get drapes and Roman Shades wet.

Do you sell hardware
At the moment we do not sell hardware. We have guide to help you find the right hardware for all types of heading style in our resources section.

Do you offer design advise
At India Home Furnishings we are a team of designer, professionals seam‐stress, hand work embroiders and operations. This means that when you contact us to discuss your Window Treatment Project you are not communicating to a "Sales Person" but a Designer. We want our Designers to help you createthe perfect custom window treatment with our Drapery, Roman Shades, Valances or any combination of them all. Along with pillows, upholstery fabric and bedding.

In the unlikely event if there’s something wrong with the production of window treatment we’ll exchange or do the needful at no extra cost. Do you ship International
Yes, we ship worldwide by fedex priority service. Delivery all over the world is free. Taxes will be added at checkout, Duty is payable when a shipment arrives at destination country as per specific country’s rule.

How to track a shipment
When your order ships, we send you an e mail with the tracking number. Your tracking number can also be found on order page in your account. We ship order by fedex priority (express) and it’ll arrive to you 3 - 7 business days.

Can I change or cancel an order
We cannot accept changes or cancellation on items as it’s processed within a few hours after order received. You can message us within 2 hours and we can try our best if changes are possible.

Can I return or exchange an item
We cannot accept return or exchanges as all our products are make to order whenever an order received. But yes, we are always there for sales & service. Please contact us if there’s any issue, we’ll try our best for the right solution. Very unlikely - if there’s any mistake from our end we’ll replace the product free of cost.

Can I delay the shipment of my order
If you wish to place an order and delay shipment to a later date. You can make a note or message us while place an order, the date you would like to ship. We’ll hold the shipment and dispatch as per later date.
